Bionautit is a Finnish scientific co-operative venture specializing in providing research and consultancy for scientific projects, primarily in the fields of microbiology and biology.

Edina Rudner

Edina is a Doctor of Biology (PhD) specialized in envronmental issues. During her long career, she has studied long-term climate change and climate change mechanisms at both the University of Cambridge and the University of Helsinki (Helsingin Yliopisto). As a Hungarian academic researcher, she has been involved in the leadership and management of her own research projects. She also works on projects at the University of Helsinki where she has cultivated her experience of international project management in partnership with various EU organisations.

As a Botanical expert, she has participated in numerous multidisciplinary projects in archaeology, farming and geology across Europe. Notably, she was involved in a four year project involving the universities and research facilities in Kiel, Hannover and Wiesbach. Over the course of the project she became very familiar with aspects of scientific conference organisation and formal scientific publication.

She has gained professional environmental and sustainable development experience through the study and teaching of environmental science to professional researchers and post- and undergraduate students. Dealing with recycling methods and sustainable development are also part of her everyday professional workload. Edina is a qualified and experienced environmental lecturer and college tutor.

The subject of climate change is also very close to her heart.
